I love the female sleuths in cozy mysteries. My first favorite female sleuth goes all the way back to Harriet M. Welsch from Harriet the Spy, which I read decades before they made it into a movie! That book changed me because after that I started keeping a little notebook with observations about the world – training myself to be a writer without knowing it. I asked my readers who their favorites were and got such a great list. There are so many wonderfully curious, smart, funny female sleuths out there. Here are a few of their favorites. I have to admit – I didn’t know them all. So I’m thankful for the reading suggestions. I linked to some of the books that were new to me!
